Howard Katz Fireheart was born in New York City, where he completed his education in classical and modern dance, acting, singing, and martial arts. Education at the California Institute of the Arts. From 1982 to 1992 he headed his company KOOK in NYC and a studio of the same name. Cooperation with David Parsons, Donald Byrd, Frey Faust and others. Performances and lectures in the USA, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Israel, and Korea. Since 1996 he has been living in Berlin and NYC, has been working as a solo artist and in cooperation with artists from various countries in interdisciplinary productions. BudoFlux: Cofounder and codirector with Marc Trivanti. Integration of martial arts principles in the performing and visual arts. Post Holocaust Pop: eclectic performance band cocreated with Matthias Herrmann. Their second CD, of the same name, was published in 1998 by KOOK-Label, which Howard re-established in Berlin in 1997, as an artist for artist culture label that continues to grow.
