Joana Mbabazi

Joana has graduated in Dance at the Makerere University (Department of Performing Arts and Film).
She has trained in many dance genres, a.o. Jazz, Modern, African contemporary, Ballet, different African traditional dances.
She has worked professionally with many companies and organisations. To mention few of them (but not limited to) there are the Uganda National Contemporary Ballet (UNCB), Musica Para Salva Vidas (Spain), Uganda Heritage Roots.
Currently she is working with the Dance Theatre Uganda as a performer and rehearsal manager. Along her formal and informal training Joana has attained experience in teaching and choreography.
