Alternative Evolutions

“Alternative Evolutions” explores the question of what other paths evolution on Earth might have taken. What would have happened if, for example, environmental conditions had been very different, or if other mechanisms for energy production had developed?

What makes this project special is that it is based entirely on AI. We merely formulated the questions. The topic was then discussed and developed further by various large language models (LLMs).

From this discussion, the models developed a series of scenarios and created the basis for the visualisation. This gradually gives rise to a wide variety of works: posters, 3D objects, and video works.
