Gabriele Reuter

Gabriele Reuter is choreographer, dancer and urbanist in Berlin and Nottingham. She studied contemporary dance in Leicester and London and historical urbanism in Berlin. Since 2001 her own choreographies have been shown at various international festivals, including Nottdance Festival (UK), Springdance festival Utrecht, SpringLoaded at The Place London, idans Istanbul (nominated for thePrix Jardin d’Europe). Gabriele has participated in numerous improvisation series and formats in England and Germany and has presented twelve performative salon evenings together with Susanne Martin since 2009. As a dancer Gabriele has worked for Sioned Huws, Christoph WInkler, Frauke Requardt and Rick Nodine, among others. She has taught contemporary dance, improvisation and contact improvisation at various universities in England and has given workshops and professional training in Portugal, Norway, Brazil and Chile. She currently teaches in the course program of the Tanzfabrik Berlin.
