Martín Alonso A. Reyes

Teacher, creator and performer with studies in dance pedagogy and choreography at the Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano UAHC and at the Centro de Danza ESPIRAL of Patricio Bunster and Joan Turner. His work and contribution as a performer and creator in the Dance Company “ESPIRAL” directed by Manuela Bunster and the company “Danza en Cruz”, of Valentina Pavez and Rodrigo Fernández, as well as in the work of Claude Brumachon-Benjamín Lamarche. As a teacher he has contributed to training processes in the Espiral dance centre, the dance school of the University Academy of Christian Humanism UAHC, the Modern School of Music and Dance, and the dance school of the Ollin Yoliztli cultural centre in Mexico City. In 2018, in southern Patagonia, Magallanes region, Chile, the collective in transit “ASKUTÀLAK proyecto escénico”, a space for creative development and research, which has received the support of the Fondo nacional de las artes escénicas for the realization of projects such as : Asolación, at the Sala Arrau del Teatro Municipal de santiago, Opera Nacional (2018) I Antes que raíz, tierra, centro cultural de Punta Arenas (2019) I Poética del gesto, videodanza for the Plan de fomento a la lectura del ministerio de las culturas (2020) I Acerca de una Desolación, video dance premiered at the santiago Off international festival (2021) I SHEEP, La Obstinada Memoria del Viento short film in cinedanza format, made through the Fondo Nacional de las Artes FONDART Nacional, call for proposals 2021. I PAISAJE ERRANTE, poéticas desde el fin del mundo, creation in residence in collaboration with the dance school of the Ollin Yoliztli cultural centre in Mexico City (2022), Fondo de las Artes Escénicas, Línea de Circulación Internacional – Residencias de creación 2022. Participates in the catalogue of the Ibero-American dance platform PID in the edition of the internationale tanzmesse 2022 held in Düsseldorf.
