Keiran James is an award-winning filmmaker and digital art creator, based in Sawtell, Australia.

Keiran undertook undergraduate study at the University of Canberra and holds post-graduate degrees in Media and Film Production from the University of Technology Sydney and The University of Western Sydney. Keiran has worked over the past 25 years in commercial television and independent film.

He currently produces films at Rockpool Productions, a boutique production company specialising in depicting Australian stories with a visually captivating style. He regularly collaborates with institutions, such as libraries and art institutions, travelling to remote Australian communities to bring their unique voices to the world.

Jimmy John Thaiday trained as a carpenter before pursuing a career as an artist. He has had a lifelong passion for drawing, depicting the fish and marine life on the reef surrounding the island where he grew up. For Jimmy, art is a means of expressing his identity while sharing his culture and beliefs.

Jimmy has been represented in major national and international exhibitions, including WARWAR: The art of the Torres Strait, Newcastle Art Gallery 2021; and Taba Naba, Oceanography Museum, Monaco 2016. His work is represented in major collections in Australia and overseas.
He is represented by Erub Arts, Torres Strait, Queensland.
