Prisca Atite

Prisca Atite is a Dancer, Choreographer, Jeweller and Yoga Teacher, passionate about talent nurturing, community Development and personal branding.
She believes in the impact of Arts and Culture on the social, economic and cultural change, when given an opportunity to embrace its potential.
Prisca uses the experience she gained as a contemporary dancer and skills from her academic education to improve her activities as community educator and theatre practitioner.
She spends most of her time at the Dance Adventure Studios, an artistic organization she funded in Najjera, where she works as choreographer.
Her passion for Activism earned her the designation of Swing Dance Ambassador, entrusted by the Frankie Manning Foundation (USA) to promote swing and lindy hop dance in Uganda.
Pursued a Satyananda and Hatha Course from Tanzania to qualify as a yoga instructor.
Recently in September (2020), she started a small business in hand crafted Jewellery to be able to earn income during the pandemic getting an inspiration from her grandmother as she loved fashion and art.
She is a lady always excited to run workshops with children and youths as a way of merging her imagination with the passion that drives them to ownership and realization of inner potential.
