Nadiia Pliamko

Nadiia Pliamko is a Ukrainian artist who uses classical methods to interpret reality and modern tools for their realization.

Nadiia employs modern 3D plasticity to sensually explore and disclose common, pressing doubts. In her current creative phase, she synthesizes magical realism by combining classical imagery with contemporary dissonances.

Since 2007, she has participated in more than 20 group exhibitions and 3 solo exhibitions. Over the years, she has made significant progress in transforming her techniques, starting with the digital imitation of analog drawing. She has also explored ideas through sculpture, collage, and a combination of painting and 3D. This evolution highlights the core of her artistic journey—decorative elements intertwined with surreal, non-linear storytelling, enriched with logical symbols to facilitate the “reading” of complex phenomena. In the connections between objects, she embeds a range of interpretations of various experiences and entities to showcase their versatility.

By combining her education at the Institute of Contemporary Art, the British School of Design, the Center for Psychological Counseling, and certified software training programs, she has developed a visual language that lies at the intersection of these disciplines.
